Miles Contributes All-Around in Ospreys’ Win Over Bellarmine
Jasai Miles had a solid all-around outing to help lead North Florida past Bellarmine tonight. The freshman guard scored 11 points on an efficient 60% shooting from the field. He was active on the glass as well, pulling down 7 rebounds to aid the Ospreys’ efforts. Miles got to the free throw line and shot it at a 75% clip while there.
He scored his 11 points effectively, not needing high volume to make an impact. Miles was able to contribute in multiple ways, whether it was his scoring, rebounding or ability to draw fouls and convert his chances at the stripe. His versatile stat line reflects the type of multi-dimensional threat he can pose on any given night.
It was a quality performance for Miles that saw him make plays on both ends of the court. He spearheaded a balanced offensive attack by the Ospreys in this win. The guard once again showed he can positively affect games even when not relying solely on his scoring. Miles and North Florida will look to keep things rolling in their next time out.
